Business Development Manager – Vu TelePresence, Inc.
Vu TelePresence is a growing global company specializing in TelePresence and Video Conferencing. We are seeking motivated, goal oriented individuals with strong business acumen to manage sales operations in geographic regions across the US and Canada.
Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the Vu business in his/her region. This includes prospecting, attending local/national trade shows, generating leads of prospects, and meeting monthly sales objectives. The Business Development Manager is supported with Inside Sales Representatives and Video Conference demonstration rooms within their region, along with exceptional marketing support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or a Business Development role, intelligent, adaptive, high energy, ambitious, goal oriented
- The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with the small business space (companies with 10-500 employees
- Preferred candidate would have proven business to business sales history and the ability to develop relationships quickly
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable dealing with technology and its impact on business profitability as you offer an effective business solution
- Proven capability to analyze real world business issues and solve business problems
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast, set goals to hit organizational sales goals
- Assist senior management in setting targets, understand ground realities, suggest changes to marketing activities to increase sales, value proposition and marketing collateral creation
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication, the ability to speak well in front of an audience and strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
