Queens Night Market Returns for Fifth Season in April
The large and varied market will return on April 20 with a lineup of food, art, and merchandise vendors selling goods from all around the world.
For the upcoming season, the market will open at 5 p.m., an hour earlier than last year, to 12 a.m. every Saturday night throughout the summer at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
More than 50 food and merchandise vendors have also been confirmed to set up shop at the market this spring.
Live performances from a schedule of bands, dance groups, musicians and more will also feature prominently at the market, as in prior years, which included African dance troupes, Brazilian drum lines, Bollywood bands, hula hoop artists, beatboxers, and brass and jazz bands.
The market’s earlier opening is also intended, according to Queens Night Market, to help small business owners make more sales.
