The Queens Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc.
The Queens Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. (QCCF) is 501c3, not for profit organization founded by the Queens Chamber of Commerce in 1999 to support its mission in the following ways:
To provide scholarships for Queens students to assist them in their pursuit of higher educational opportunities.
To offer educational programs that provide the displaced worker with sufficient training for a new job in a different field or provide enhanced skills training to the worker to meet the increasingly competitive needs of the employer.
To assist individuals who are interested in starting up a new business and to advise and train them in the necessary basic steps such as creating a business plan, financial lending, obtaining licenses and permits, and insurance.
To establish a formal import/export program that will provide information and assistance to individuals to initiate or expand their import/export activities.
To work with individuals to focus on internal and external communications skills, procedures and tools to help their businesses grow and prosper.
Funding The Queens Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. seeks funding from Queens businesses, private sources and grants from the, City, County and State to support its mission.
Programs The QCCF has received grants from Queens Chamber of Commerce members, AT&T, Verizon and Altria to support scholarships, worker skills training programs, educational seminars for minority & women owned businesses and communication projects.
