Members of the public are encouraged to vote from among seven nominated breweries, bars, and establishments pouring exceptional, locally crafted brews at https://bit.ly/QueensBestBeerVote. Voting will end on Thursday, May 7.
“This year’s nominees highlight the innovation and passion that define Queens’ craft beer scene,” said Tom Grech, President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce. “From traditional styles to bold, experimental brews, these establishments represent some of the very best the borough has to offer.”
Nominations kicked off on National Beer Day and were collected over the course of several weeks and include the following businesses:

  • Bridge and Tunnel Brewery (Decatur Street, Ridgewood)
  • Evil Twin Brewing NYC (George Street, Ridgewood)
  • Fifth Hammer Brewing Company (46th Avenue, Long Island City)
  • Finback Brewery (77th Avenue, Glendale)
  • Focal Point Beer Co (12th Street, Long Island City)
  • Rockaway Brewing Company (5th Street, Long Island City)
  • SingleCut Beersmiths (37th Street, Astoria)
Nominated establishments are invited to Queens Day in Albany on Tuesday, May 5, to showcase their brews. The winning establishment will receive bragging rights, along with a complimentary membership to the Queens Chamber of Commerce. Second- and third-place winners will receive certificates.
This is the 14th “Best of Queens” food competition. Prior contests settled debates over the borough’s best pizza, burgers, halal, empanadas, barbecue, tacos, frozen desserts, bagels, pad thai, tavern, bakery, deli, and soup.
