QUEENS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL QUEENS’ BEST BAR COMPETITION

The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, has announced its tenth “Best Of Queens” competition, looking for the borough’s best bar. Members of the public are encouraged to nominate and vote for their favorite watering hole serving up the pints and cocktails over the course of several weeks.
 
"Queens has no shortage of incredible bars, from classic neighborhood pubs to innovative cocktail lounges," said Tom Grech, President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce. "Our 'Best Bar in Queens' competition is a great way to celebrate the borough’s vibrant nightlife and support our local businesses. We invite everyone to nominate their favorite spots and help us crown the best bar in Queens!"
 
The Chamber is accepting nominations from the public beginning on Friday, February 21, at https://bit.ly/QueensBestBar. They will close on Monday, March 3. Public voting will start on Monday, March 10 and run through Thursday, March 20.

The winner will be crowned with the title of Queens’ Best Pad Bar at an event on Wednesday, March 26. The winning eatery will receive bragging rights, along with a complimentary membership to the Queens Chamber of Commerce. The second and third place winners will receive certificates.
 
This is the tenth “Best of Queens” food competition. Prior contests settled debates over the borough’s best pizza, burgers, halal, empanadas, barbecue, tacos, frozen desserts, bagels, and pad thai.
