Commissioner Sewell dedication to the safety of our city has been recognized and appreciated by the Queens business community. “We were delighted to honor Commissioner Sewell at our 2022 St. Patrick’s Day luncheon, an event that shattered our attendance records. That afternoon Commissioner Sewell accepted our Public Service Award on behalf of the entire NYPD, and impressed us all with her vision for the department and understanding of the importance of public safety to small businesses. “Commissioner Sewell will be sorely missed by the people and small business community of Queens County and all of New York City, and we wish her the best of luck in her next chapter.” Press release available for download, below.
