Branch Manager - Ozone Park 

Exhibit effective leadership while overseeing the entire operations of a branch ensuring alignment to corporate strategies and objectives. Model leadership behaviors that foster a work environment that ensures exceptional employee and member experiences.  Lead and manage change in an agile environment that incorporates sound decision making and problem resolution.  Responsible for acquiring and servicing an array of deposit and lending relationships. Ensure teammates can clearly utilize a consultative sales approach to provide solutions based on member needs and preferences. 

The estimated salary range for this position is: $83,000 - $100,000 annually.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Engage with the team to create a positive work environment where employee engagement, member service and production are the main focus.

 

  • Guide career and succession planning.  Coach, train and develop staff including administering development plans, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.  Provide direction and oversees staff.

 

  • Encourage self-directed learning for self and direct reports. Document and track transfer of learning in UKG Pro goal notes.

 

  • Continuously develop a consultative sales approach for the team to identify new sales opportunities to engage members and prospects in collaborative needs-based conversations. Staff should be skilled in recommending appropriate solutions to facilitate deposit and loan acquisition or refer to partners as necessary to establish and expand deposit and lending relationships.

 

  • Empower the supervisory team to prepare and conduct meetings, sharing best practices, and feedback on enhancing individual performance as well as supporting team performance. 

 

  • Lead a dynamic team that embraces a culture of change, agility and innovation that will enable employees to align with the visions and strategic goals.  Encourage the supervisory team to create and implement sales and service strategies to achieve goals. 

 

  • Ensure effective utilization of all systems and applications to process the daily functions while maintaining efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall adherence to security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.

 

Has full managerial responsibility: has direct reports, assigns work to staff, provides coaching and training, sets goals, is accountable for performance evaluation, plans staff development, and makes and approves people management decisions either alone or in collaboration with management and Human Resources (including recruitment, promotions, terminations, and compensation).
