Scissura, Esq., president and CEO of the New York Building Congress, and celebrate excellence in the design, construction, and sustainability of projects across Queens.

QUEENS, NY (September 12, 2024) - On Thursday, September 12, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, announced Twist It Top It as the winner of its inaugural Queens’ Best Frozen Dessert Competition. The contest kicked off on August 29 and asked dessert lovers to nominate and vote for their favorite establishments serving up frozen treats from across the borough, with the Howard Beach eatery emerging as the winner.

QUEENS, NY (August 29, 2024) - The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in the borough, is now accepting votes for its Queens’ Best Frozen Dessert Competition. Members of the public are encouraged to vote for their favorite eatery in the borough from among 14 nominated establishments at https://bit.ly/QueensBestFrozenDessertVote through Friday, September 6.

QUEENS, NY (August 16, 2024) - The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, will close out summertime with its inaugural Queens’ Best Frozen Dessert Competition throughout August and September. Members of the public are encouraged to nominate and vote for their favorite restaurant serving up frozen desserts over the course of several weeks.

(QUEENS, NY) August 8, 2024 - New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) Acting Commissioner Dynishal Gross announced that the city is awarding $4.4 million in grants to 25 organizations, including the Queens Chamber of Commerce, to support projects designed to revitalize commercial corridors and enliven the public realm, including neighborhood food tours, street fairs, public murals, and marketing for local small businesses. Multi-year grants will be disbursed to community-based organizations (CBDOs) and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) across the five boroughs. The new round of grants builds on the administration’s historic investment of more than $27 million in neighborhood development since 2022.

QUEENS, NY (June 26, 2024) — On Wednesday, June 26, the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Queens Tech Council were joined by business, government and community leaders to celebrate the opening of its sixth incubator location in Forest Hills. This location of the Queens Tech Incubator program joins a list of incubators in Jamaica, Far Rockaway, Jackson Heights, and Long Island City, as well as on the campus of Queens College. It is sponsored by Maspeth Federal Savings.

On Friday, June 21, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in the Queens, announced Donovan’s Pub as the winner of its inaugural Queens’ Best Burger Competition. The contest kicked off Memorial Day weekend, and asked foodies to nominate and vote for their favorite burger establishments from across the borough, with the Woodside eatery emerging as the winner.

(QUEENS, NY) June 17, 2024 — New York City Council Member Vickie Paladino, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, and the Bayside Historical Society invite the whole community to the Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show and Concert on Wednesday, June 26th at Fort Totten. This annual event draws thousands to celebrate a night of fireworks, food and family fun. This year’s celebration promises to be another incredible night with fireworks provided by “Fireworks by Grucci”.
