Duties, this list is a general outline and not limited to the below

• Create and issue delivery orders for import and export cargo – both ocean & air
• Follow up with cargo locations for freight availability and last free day
• Confirm with trucker delivery order received
• Communicate with trucker regarding any information related to pick up and delivery
• Communicate with customer and delivery location to ensure problem free delivery
• Follow up to ensure shipments are all picked up timely to avoid storage or additional costs
• When necessary, communicate to customer that delivery was completed
• Update all notes in the system on a timely basis to ensure clear timeline of events
• Make sure all charges are clearly noted for proper billing
