The 29th Annual Jackson Heights Halloween Parade

10-31-2019 5:00 AM - 10-31-2019 7:00 AM

The giant costume march, run by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, typically draws more than 3,000 attendees and is deemed the largest children’s Halloween parade in New York City.

At the end of the route, 3,200 bags stuffed with candy will be handed out to children participating in the parade – one of the event’s highlights.  The Newtown High School Key Club will be assisting with filling the bags.

The parade also features the P.S. 145 band and the I.S. 230 marching band as well as the Jackson Heights Flying Puppets.

Community organizations like local schools, scout troops and Community Board 3 will all be taking part in the parade as well.
