On Tuesday, May 9, dozens of business, government, education and tech leaders gathered at LaGuardia Community College for the Spring 2023 Queens Tech Breakfast. The breakfast, which provided attendees with the opportunity to network and hear from industry leaders, was hosted by the Queens Chamber of Commerce, Queens’ oldest and largest business organization, and the Queens Tech Council.

The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, congratulates 19 restaurants from across the borough included on the 2023 “100 Best Restaurants in New York City” list featured in The New York Times. Restaurant critic Pete Wells compiled the list and ranked the city’s top restaurants based on his decade of reviewing.

QUEENS, NY, (March 16, 2023)—On Wednesday afternoon, the Queens Chamber of Commerce honored New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh and Jennifer O’Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal and Administrative Officer of the New York City Football Club (NYCFC), at its annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon.
The debate is settled. Rocco’s of Roc Beach is the winner of the inaugural Queens’ Best Pizza Competition, held by the Queens Chamber of Commerce. Over the past several weeks, pizza aficionados nominated and voted on their favorite slices and pies in the borough, with the Rockaway Beach eatery emerging as the winner. Pizza D’Amore, also in Rockaway Beach, finished second, with Gaby’s Pizza on Hillside Avenue in Hollis finishing third.
Thanks to the work of Senator Charles Schumer, Representative Grace Meng and former Representative Carolyn Maloney, the Queens Chamber of Commerce will receive $2 million in federal appropriations as part of the 2023 government spending package. This Community Project Funding will support programs
that provide legal services to Queens-based small businesses, and the growth of the tech
